DETAILS:
Day 1 - 16 March: we'll meet at 10.30 in Corallejo. Corralejo will be the base for all our activities, and every morning we will meet there, so accommodation in this beautiful town is warmly recommended. After a short briefing and the first presentation, we will move to the Cotillo coast. On this first day, we'll start shooting in that lunar landscape, exploring different locations (beaches and inland areas). The sunset is expected at Faro del Tostón. End of the day, and I'll take you back to Corralejo. Day 2 - 17 March: A bit more driving this day, but definitely worth it! We'll start at 10:00 in Corralejo and head south. The first stop will be at an abandoned farm near La Florida, located in a desolate and Martian-like environment. Then we'll head to the astonishing Cofete Beach, where we’ll spend the afternoon and shoot the sunset. End of the day and return to Corralejo. Day 3 - 18 March: The first part of the day will be spent near Corralejo: windmills, turbines, and the surroundings of La Oliva. Then we’ll move to the black beach of Ajuy and its characteristic village, staying there through noon and sunset. Day 4 - 19 March: The morning will be dedicated to the beautiful Corralejo Dunes National Park, and the afternoon will be for an editing lesson/session.
After about a month, I will be available for a group call to present your portfolios. Everything is, of course, flexible, depending on weather conditions, for example. Other goals of this tour include pleasure and a bit of relaxation, so feel free to bring your swimsuit and beach gear... even if the sea is a bit cold! Meteo: March in Fuerteventura offers warm, dry, and sunny weather with cool evenings and moderate winds. Dress in light layers you can easily add or remove. You’ll be comfortable in summer clothes during the day but will need a jacket or sweater for the evening. Gear: Nothing special, just your camera. Of course, it’s better and more interesting if you have a zoom lens or (if you use prime lenses) the option to choose between wide and telephoto. Feel free to bring all your gear, including GoPro, drone, etc. A €300 deposit is required for the reservation. The remaining balance must be paid 45 days before the start of the journey.
